Beta changelog
What changed.
Short, user-facing notes for the current ThreadRecall beta. The internal engineering notes are much longer; this page keeps the pieces that matter when you install or update.
ThreadRecall 1.0 beta8.61
July 4, 2026 · build 61
- Added Restore from Backup… under Help.
- ThreadRecall now lists automatic local backups with session counts and newest session dates.
- Before restoring, ThreadRecall saves the current memory database into a reversible safety folder.
- The guide now explains when to use restore: missing sessions, a broken import, a database issue, or an unexpected local memory rollback.
Why it matters: beta users should have a calm recovery path before uninstalling, deleting files, or re-importing everything.
